ইসলামিক সাল অনুযায়ী ২য় হিজরীতে রমজান মাসে হযরত মা ফাতেমা (রা.) এর সাথে হযরত আলী
(রা.)এর বিবাহ হয় । বর্ণনাকারীদের মধ্য কেউ কেউ বলেন তাঁদের বিয়ে হয়েছিল সফর মাসে ।
আবার কেউ এমনও বলে থাকেন সেটা উহুদ যুদ্ধের পরেই হয় । যখন হযরত মা ফাতেমা (রা.) এর
বিয়ে হয় তখন উনার বয়স ছিল ১৬ অথবা ১৮ বছর । আর হযরত আলী এর বয়স ছিল ২১ বছর ৫ মাসের
মত । হযরত আবু বকর সিদ্দিক (রা.) সর্ব প্রথম মা ফাতেমাকে বিয়ে করার জন্য প্রস্তাব দিলেও
মহানবী (সাল্লালাহু আলাইহে ওয়াসাল্লাম) উনাকে বলেন যে আমি এ ব্যপারে ওহীর অপেক্ষায়
আছি । এরপর হযরত উমর (রা.) একই রকম প্রস্তাব করেন । নবীজি (সাল্লালাহু আলাইহে ওয়াসাল্লাম)
উনাকেও একই উত্তর দিলেন ।
According to the Islamic period, in the second Hijri in the month of Ramadan, Hazrat Ali (ra) was married to Hazrat Fatima (ra). Many previous history, So there are a little disagreement in this narration. Some of the historians have said that, they were married in the hijri month of the Safar. Someone also says that it was after the war of Uhud. When the mother Fatima (R) was married, she was 16 or 18 years old. And Harat Ali was 21 years old. Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (ra) offered the first to marry mother, Fatimah. But The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) told him that I am waiting for this. Then, the second caliph of Islam, Umar (ra)made similar proposal. The Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) gave the same answer to him.
কোন বর্ণনায় আছে যে, নবীজি (সাল্লালাহু আলাইহে ওয়াসাল্লাম) তখন উনাদেরকে বললেন যে মা ফাতেমার বয়স ত এখনও অনেক কম । একদিন সাহাবিগণ বিশেষ করে উম্মে আয়মান (রা.) হযরত আলী (রা.) কে মা ফাতেমাকে বিয়ে করার জন্য উৎসাহ দিতে লাগলেন । তখন জবাবে আলী (রা.) বললেন যে, এ বিষয়ে আমি কিছু বলতে সংকোচ বোধ করি । তিনি আরো বলেন, হযরত আবু বকর ও হযরত উমর (রা.) এর প্রস্তাব যখন প্রত্যাখান করেছেন তখন আমার প্রস্তাবে সাড়া দিবেন কেন । উত্তরে সাহাবীগন বললেন আপনি রাসূল (সাল্লালাহু আলাইহে ওয়াসাল্লাম) এর নৈকট্যভাজন এবং তাঁর পিতৃব্যপুত্র আবদুল মুত্তালিবের অধস্তন পুরুষ । সুতরাং আপনি সংকোচ করবেন না । এতে হযরত আলী (রা.) আর কথা না বাড়িয়ে একদিন হযরত মোহাম্মদ (সাল্লালাহু আলাইহে ওয়াসাল্লাম) এর খেদমতে হাজির হয়ে সালাম দিলেন । রাসূল পাক (সাল্লালাহু আলাইহে ওয়াসাল্লাম) সালামের জবাব দিয়ে বললেন, হে আবু তালিব তনয়! কিছু বলবে কি ? জবাবে হযরত আলী (রা.) বললেন যে, আমি ফাতেমাকে বিয়ে করার প্রস্তাব নিয়ে এসেছি । তখন রাসূল (সাল্লালাহু আলাইহে ওয়াসাল্লাম) শুধু এতটুকুই বললেন- মারহাবান ইয়া আহলান । হযরত আনাস (রা.) সে সময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন । তিনি বললেন- আমি দেখতে পেলাম যে, তাঁর পবিত্র চেহারায় ওহী নাযিল হওয়ার অবস্থা । সে অবস্থা ক্রমান্বয়ে বাড়তে শুরু করল । যখন তিনি স্বাভাবিক অবস্থায় ফিরে এলেন তিনি বললেন আনাস! আরশাধিপতির পক্ষ থেকে জিবরাঈল আমার নিকট বলে গেলেন যে, ফাতেমার বিয়ে আলীর সাথে দাও । তুমি যাও, আবু বকর, ওমর, উসমান, তালহা, যুবায়ের, এবং আনসারদের ডেকে আন । সবাই হাজির হলে তিনি (দরূদ) বিবাহের ব্যাপারে কিছু কথা শেষ করলেন এবং আল্লাহ্-তায়লার প্রশংসা ও পবিত্রতা প্রকাশ করলেন । তারপর রাসূল (দরূদ) হজরত আলী ও হজরত মা ফাতেমা (রা.) এর শুভ বিবাহ সম্পূন্ন করলেন । তারপর হুজুর পাক (দরূদ) চারশ মেছকাল রৌপ্যর মহর নির্ধারণ করে বললেন হে আলী!!! তুমি কি কবুল করেছ ও রাজী হয়েছ ? হজরত আলী (রা.) বললেন- আমি কবুল করলাম এবং রাজী হলাম । এরপর রাসূল পাক (দরূদ) একপাত্র খেজুর নিযে সাহাবীগণের মধ্যে বিলিয়ে দিলেন ।

In a narration that, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to them: the age of Mother Fatma is still very low. One day the disciples, especially Umm Ayman (ra), encouraged Ali (ra) to marry Mother Fatema. In response, Ali (R) said, I feel embarrassed to say anything about this. He also said, when the proposal of Hadrat Abu Bakr and Hadrat Umar (R) was rejected, Then why would he agree with my proposal? Said the companions in reply You are the proximity of the Messenger (Sallallahu alaihe Wassallam) and the subordinate men of his father, Abdul Muttalib. So you do not hesitate for this. Ali (R) appeared before Prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu alaihe Wassallam) and gave salam. The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) replied to Salam, "O Abu Talib son! Will you say something ? In response, Ali (R) said that I came with the proposal to marry Fatima. Then the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) only said this: Marhawan ya Ahlan ! Hazrat Anas (ra) was present at that time. He said - I see that, I saw such a feeling in his holy face so Revelation was revealed. The situation started to grow gradually. When he came back to normal he said Anas! Gabriel said to me from the throne, Get married to Fatima with Ali. You go, call Abu Bakr, Omar, Othman, Talha, Jubair and the Ansar. When everyone appeared, he (Darud) finished some things about the marriage And expressed the praise and sanctity of God. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) completed the Happy Marriage of Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Ma Fatima (ra.). Then the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) determined four hundred meskal silver seals and said; Hey Ali !!! Have you accepted and agreed? Hazrat Ali (ra) said - I accepted and agreed. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) divided somes dates among the Companions.

বিবাহকার্য সম্পূন্ন হলে রাসূল
(দরূদ) স্বীয়কক্ষে প্রবেশ করলেন এবং হজরত মা ফাতেমাকে পানি আনতে বললেন । মা ফাতেমা
(রা.) কাঠের একটি পেয়ালাতে পানি নিয়ে এলেন । রাসূল (দরূদ) উক্ত পানিতে নিজের লালা মোবারক
মিশিযে দিয়ে বললেন আমার কাছে এস । মা ফাতেমা কাছে এলে তারপর তিনি (দরূদ) মা ফাতেমার
পবিত্র বক্ষে ঐ পানি ছিটিয়ে দিলেন এবং বললেন হে আমার আল্লাহ! আমি আমার এ কন্যাকে এবং
তাঁর সন্তানদেরকে বিতাড়িত শয়তানের প্রভাব থেকে তোমার আশ্রয়ে দিয়ে দিলাম । তারপর তিনি আবার মা ফাতেমাকে
বললেন হে পুত্রী! আমার দিকে পিঠ ফিরাও। তারপর তিনি পিছনে ফিরে দাঁড়ালেন । তিনি (দরূদ)
আবার সেই পানি মা ফাতেমার দুই কাঁধের মধ্যবর্তীস্থানে ছিটিয়ে দিলেন অতপর বললেন হে
আমার আল্লাহ! আমি একে এবং এর সন্তানদের বিতাড়িত শয়তানের কৃদৃষ্টি থেকে তোমার আশ্রয়ে
সমর্পণ করলাম । তারপর তিনি আবারও আরো কিছু পানি আনতে বললেন । এ কথা শোনার পর হজরত আলী
(রা.) বললেন যে, আমি বুঝে ফেললাম এবার রাসূলুল্লাহ (দরূদ) কি করবেন । আমি উঠে দাঁড়ালাম
এবং পানি নিয়ে আসলাম । এরপর রাসূল (দরূদ) অনুরূপ একই আচরণ করলেন এবং উক্ত পানি হজরত
আলী (রা.) মাথায় ও মুখে ছিটিয়ে দিলেন । তারপর দোয়া করলেন । অতঃপর রাসূল (দরূদ) অজু
করে উভয়ের জন্য দোয়া করলেন এভাবে হে আমার আল্লাহ! এ দুটি প্রাণ আমার এবং আমিও তাদের
। হে আমার রব! যেভাবে তুমি আমাকে পবিত্র করেছ, সেভাবে তুমি এদেরকেও পবিত্র করো ।
When the act of marriage was completed, the Prophet (peace be upon him) entered his house and He asked Fatima to fetch water. Mother Fatima (ra) brought water in a cup of wood. The Prophet (PBUH) mixed his saliva mubarak in the water and said come to me. When Mother Fatima come to Hujur Pak (PBUH), then he (PBUH) sprinkled the water on Fatima's holy chest and said, O my God (Alalah)! I gave my daughter and her children to your shelter from the influence of Satan who was driven out from your mercy. Then he again asked Mother Fatema, O daughter! turn me back. Then he stood back behind. He (PBUH) again sprinkled the water between the two shoulders of Fatma then he said, O my God(Allah)! I surrendered her and her children to your shelter from the evil eye of the driven out devil. Then he said to bring some more water again. After listening to this, Hazrat Ali said, I understand what will the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) do? I got up and took water. Then the Prophet (PBUH) behaved similarly and he (PBUH) sprayed water on the head and face of Hazrat Ali (ra). Then he prayed. O my God! These two lives are mine and I also have them. O my lord, Just as you purify me, you make them pure.
অতঃপর তিনি দুজনকে লক্ষ্য করে বললেন, তোমরা তোমদের শয়নকক্ষে যাও । তিনি আরো দোয়া করলেন, হে আমার আল্লাহ! দুজনের মধ্যে মহব্বত সৃষ্টি করে দাও । এদের সন্তানদের মধ্যে বরকত দান করো । এদেরকে অস্থিরতামুক্ত করো । এদের বংশধরদেরকে পুণ্যবান করো । এদের উপর বরকত বর্ষণ করো । এদের বংশধারা থেকে অধিকসংখ্যক পবিত্র সন্তান সৃষ্টি করো । খতীব বাগদাদী (রহ.) হজরত ইবনে আব্বাস (রা.) থেকে বর্ণনা করেছেন, রাসূল (দরূদ) যখন হজরত মা ফাতেমা (রা.) কে হজরত আলী (রা.) এর সাথে বিবাহ দিলেন তখন মা ফাতেমা কেঁদে ফেললেন । তখন নবীজি (দরূদ) জিজ্ঞেসা করলেন হে আমার কলিজার টুকরা! কাঁদছো কেনো ? মা ফাতেমা বললেন হে আল্লাহর রাসূল (দরূদ)! আপনি আমাকে এমন একজনের সাথে বিবাহ দিলেন, যে বিত্তহীন । তখন রাসূলুল্লাহ্ (দরূদ) বললেন ফাতেমা ! তুমি কি একথা জেনে তুষ্ট হবে না যে, আল্লাহতায়ালা সারা পৃথিবীতে দুজনকে বিশেষভাবে সম্মানিত করেছেন । তাদের মধ্যে একজন তোমার পিতা আর অপরজন তোমার স্বামী ।
Then he said to both of them, "Go to your bedroom. He also prayed, O my God! Create love between these two. Bless among their children. Relieve them of the unrest. Make its descendants happy. Bless them with blessings. Create more holy children from their descendants. A famous Khatib in history of Islam named Baghdadi (RA) he has narrated from Hazrat Ebn-Abbas (RA.), When the Prophet (PBUH) get married Mother Fatima (ra) with Ali (ra) then Mother Fatima (RA.) Mother Fatima cried. Then the Prophet (darud) asked, O my wicker piece!! why are you crying? Mother Fatima said, O Messenger of Allah (PBUH)! You married me to someone who is proletarian. Then the Prophet (PBUH) said Fatema! Would you not be surprised to know that Allah has honored two people especially in the world? One of them is your father and the other is your husband.
আবার কোথাও বর্ণনা এসেছে এমন যে, রাসূল (দরূদ) এমটি বলেছেন, আমি এমন একজনের সাথে তোমাকে করেছি, যে সর্বপ্রথম ইসলামগ্রহনকারীদের অন্যতম আর মুসলমানদের মধ্যে সর্বাধিক জ্ঞানী । আর তুমি আমার উম্মতের নারীদের মধ্যে সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠা, যেমন ছিলেন মরিয়ম তাঁর সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে । ইসলামিক হাদিস শরীফে আছে, হজরত মোহাম্মদ (দরূদ) হজরত আলী (রা.)কে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, তোমার কাছে কি কিছু আছে ? হজরত আলী (রা.) বললেন যে, আমার একটি ঘোড়া আর একটি বর্ম আছে । অতঃপর রাসূলুল্লাহ (দরূদ) বললেন, ঘোড়াটি তোমার প্রয়োজন । সুতরাং বর্মটি বিক্রি করে দাও এবং সেই অর্থ আমার নিকট নিয়ে আসো । অতঃপর তিনি বর্মটি চারশ আশি দিরহামে বিক্রি করে দিলেন এবং সেই অর্থ নবীজি (দরূ) এর হাতে দিলেন । রাসূল পাক (দরূদ) তা থেকে কয়েকটি মুদ্রা হজরত বেলাল (রা.) এর হাতে দিয়ে আতর ও খুশব কিনে আনতে বললেন । অবশিষ্ট মুদ্রাগুলি উম্মে সুলায়েম (রা.)কে দিয়ে তাঁকে বিবাহের সাজ-সজ্জা, সংসারের কিছু প্রয়োজনীয় সামগ্রী কিনে আনতে বললেন । অতঃপর উম্মে সুলায়েম দুটি চাদর, কাতানের দুটি নেহালী, চার বিঘত কাপড়, পরিধেয় কিছু বস্ত্র, রৌপ্যের দুটি বায়ুবন্দ, গদী, বালিশ, একটি পেয়ালা, একটি চৌকি, একটি মশক এবং কিছু পানপাত্র কিনলেন । অতঃপর রাসূল (দরূদ) সংসারের কাজকর্ম গুলোকে দুজনের মধ্য ভাগ করে দিলেন এভাবে- মা ফাতেমা করবেন রুটি বানানো, ঘর ঝাড়ু দেয়া, যঁতা পিষা ও গৃহকর্ম সম্পাদান করা আর হজরত আলী (রা.) করবেন বাইরের কাজ ।
It has been mentioned somewhere that, The Prophet (PBUH) said so, I have convinced you with one of them, who is one of the first recipients of Islam and most wise among the muslims. And you are the best of the women of my Ummah, as Mary was in her community. In the Islamic hadith, Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) asked Hazrat Ali (ra), Do you have anything? Hazrat Ali (ra) said that, I have one horse and one armor. Then the Prophet (PBUH) said, "The horse needs you." So sell the armor and bring that money to me. Then he sold the armor to four hundred eighty dirhams and hand over the money to the Prophet (daru). Rasul Pak (peach be upon him) gave some coins to Hazrat Bilal (R) and asked to buy perfumes and sweets. The remaining coins were given to Umm Sulaim (ra) and ask to buy wedding decorations, some essentials of family. Then Umm Sulayem bought two sheets, two Nehnali katana, four spun clothes, two clothes of costumes, two airbags of silver, a pillow, pillow, a cup, a stool, a mashak and some water pots. Then the Prophet (darud) divided the activities between the two in this way - Mother Fatima will make bread, house broom, paddle and housekeeping and Hazrat Ali (ra) will do the outside work.

আবার কোথাও বর্ণনা এসেছে এমন যে, রাসূল (দরূদ) এমটি বলেছেন, আমি এমন একজনের সাথে তোমাকে করেছি, যে সর্বপ্রথম ইসলামগ্রহনকারীদের অন্যতম আর মুসলমানদের মধ্যে সর্বাধিক জ্ঞানী । আর তুমি আমার উম্মতের নারীদের মধ্যে সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠা, যেমন ছিলেন মরিয়ম তাঁর সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে । ইসলামিক হাদিস শরীফে আছে, হজরত মোহাম্মদ (দরূদ) হজরত আলী (রা.)কে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, তোমার কাছে কি কিছু আছে ? হজরত আলী (রা.) বললেন যে, আমার একটি ঘোড়া আর একটি বর্ম আছে । অতঃপর রাসূলুল্লাহ (দরূদ) বললেন, ঘোড়াটি তোমার প্রয়োজন । সুতরাং বর্মটি বিক্রি করে দাও এবং সেই অর্থ আমার নিকট নিয়ে আসো । অতঃপর তিনি বর্মটি চারশ আশি দিরহামে বিক্রি করে দিলেন এবং সেই অর্থ নবীজি (দরূ) এর হাতে দিলেন । রাসূল পাক (দরূদ) তা থেকে কয়েকটি মুদ্রা হজরত বেলাল (রা.) এর হাতে দিয়ে আতর ও খুশব কিনে আনতে বললেন । অবশিষ্ট মুদ্রাগুলি উম্মে সুলায়েম (রা.)কে দিয়ে তাঁকে বিবাহের সাজ-সজ্জা, সংসারের কিছু প্রয়োজনীয় সামগ্রী কিনে আনতে বললেন । অতঃপর উম্মে সুলায়েম দুটি চাদর, কাতানের দুটি নেহালী, চার বিঘত কাপড়, পরিধেয় কিছু বস্ত্র, রৌপ্যের দুটি বায়ুবন্দ, গদী, বালিশ, একটি পেয়ালা, একটি চৌকি, একটি মশক এবং কিছু পানপাত্র কিনলেন । অতঃপর রাসূল (দরূদ) সংসারের কাজকর্ম গুলোকে দুজনের মধ্য ভাগ করে দিলেন এভাবে- মা ফাতেমা করবেন রুটি বানানো, ঘর ঝাড়ু দেয়া, যঁতা পিষা ও গৃহকর্ম সম্পাদান করা আর হজরত আলী (রা.) করবেন বাইরের কাজ ।
It has been mentioned somewhere that, The Prophet (PBUH) said so, I have convinced you with one of them, who is one of the first recipients of Islam and most wise among the muslims. And you are the best of the women of my Ummah, as Mary was in her community. In the Islamic hadith, Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) asked Hazrat Ali (ra), Do you have anything? Hazrat Ali (ra) said that, I have one horse and one armor. Then the Prophet (PBUH) said, "The horse needs you." So sell the armor and bring that money to me. Then he sold the armor to four hundred eighty dirhams and hand over the money to the Prophet (daru). Rasul Pak (peach be upon him) gave some coins to Hazrat Bilal (R) and asked to buy perfumes and sweets. The remaining coins were given to Umm Sulaim (ra) and ask to buy wedding decorations, some essentials of family. Then Umm Sulayem bought two sheets, two Nehnali katana, four spun clothes, two clothes of costumes, two airbags of silver, a pillow, pillow, a cup, a stool, a mashak and some water pots. Then the Prophet (darud) divided the activities between the two in this way - Mother Fatima will make bread, house broom, paddle and housekeeping and Hazrat Ali (ra) will do the outside work.
